What is the Real Stand of Subramanian Swamy?

We recently came across an article published by Frontline written by Shri Subramanian Swamy. In February 2000, in the opinion of S-Swamy, RSS was a fascist organization planning to destroy minorities. After paragraphs and paragraphs of vilification, S-Swamy concluded:

Of course, the good news is that the game plan can fail. I live on the hope that in India, no well-laid plan ever works. India, after all, is a functioning anarchy. That has been the undoing of every attempt to straitjacket its society. That is why we ar e still the longest continuing unbroken civilisation of over 10,000 years. The RSS is, luckily, our counter-culture. The vibrations of Mother India will, I hope, be its undoing.

Notice the language:

1. India is a functioning arachy and no well-laid plan ever works.

2. RSS is our counter-culture.

Among other things S-Swamy also said:

That, of course, is Hindutva justice: that is, the minorities can best look forward to liberation through mercy killing.

... the RSS is astute enough to know when to hunt with the hounds and when to run with the hares. They are smarter than the German fascists in this respect.

These are not minor allegations. Also notice that S-Swamy is not criticizing RSS for being less pro-Hindu, he is directly terming RSS a fascist organization. Swearolgy has been a well known Marxist trait. Whatever it might mean, Fascism is possibly not much worse than Secularism and Socialism that the Congress has been straight-jacketing us into, and the Anarchic-Libertarianism S-Swamy is seemingly idolizing.

Contrast this with S-Swamy's DNA article on how to wipe out Islamic Terror. In that he has proposed his well-laid plan! Applying his own reasoning, his well-laid plan will not work! More over, he is seeking co-operation from India's counter-culture!

S-Swamy has to come out clean with his ideological time-line. Hindus must be vigilant before they choose their leaders. The way Vajpeyee turned out be Jawahar in disguise, S-Swamy could be much worse, an opportunist like Ajit Singh (Recently supported Congress and became minister of Civil Aviation).

Further, if the BJP and RSS hob-nob with S-Swamy without making S-Swamy coming clean on his real stand, Hindus need to become suspicious of them too.

In our opinion, S-Swamy owes an explanation to Hindus before he lectures them and seeks their support.

For the convenience of the readers, we have copy-pasted the text of the Frontline article below. The full article is here.

OPINION

The RSS game plan

A disillusioned and dispirited RSS has set the ball rolling for mid-term general elections in which it hopes that the BJP will gain an absolute majority and implement the Hindutva agenda.

SUBRAMANIAN SWAMY

THE situation in India today is characterised and manifested by creeping fascism. Never before in our history have we been confronted by such an almost invisible phenomenon. India has seen a crawling imperialism (1750-1947) when foreign traders turned mercenary protectors, and then slowly became our masters. But that process took a century to consummate and another century to unwind. The Indian people have also experienced the Emergency (1975-77) that came upon the land in a flash and went out much the same way. Nevertheless we had got a taste of dictatorship of the modern state in that short period. We had felt it, hated it, but then the nation also revolted against it.

Today the creeping fascism of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) is coming upon us not as gradually as imperialism did, nor as suddenly as did the Emergency. Its spread is being calibrated adroitly by seven faceless men of the RSS, the RSS "high comma nd". We barely feel it. Some yesteryear civil libertyites such as Arun Shourie have been co-opted. Others are being wooed or chased.

But the RSS leaders are now in their late seventies, some not at all in good health, and so in a mood of frustration. Their glide to a total capture of Delhi's gaddi (throne) has been interrupted and put on 'hold'. Symbolically, the bhagwa dhwaj (saffron double triangle flag) does not yet flutter from the Red Fort; but the hated tricolour which no RSS office can hoist even on August 15, still does. The climb to total power is up a slippery slope. Having come so close, the RSS could lose it all in a sudden throw of the electoral dice. That is the frustration; so close yet so far. Last April, my tea party nearly put their goal out of reach. It was a close call.

So the RSS warhorses recently have chalked out a game plan: the "Final Solution". The Bharatiya Janata Party-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) and the National Agenda for Governance, they concluded, cannot go on forever. It must be ended at some poi nt. Otherwise the danger is that the RSS may.

Between the 1998 and 1999 general elections, the BJP had for the first time in 15 years and after six general elections, hit a plateau in Lok Sabha seats won. Its tally was stuck at 182 seats. The tally of its "allied parties" - which do not believe in H indutva - rose in terms of numbers (18 to 24), as well in terms of seats won (80 to 120). This rang alarm bells in the RSS. For an organisation that has been banned three times in 15 years, the 1999 election results naturally, justifiably, caused neurosi s in the RSS. Under the compulsions of the coalition calculus, they have had to dilute their goals for the rewards of office. It was a trade-off: a BJP Prime Minister meant acquiring national and international legitimacy they never had before. It also me ant a conspiracy of silence of the intellectuals in the creeping advance of their Hindutva goals.

But then there is a downside to that trade-off: the RSS cadre is disillusioned and disspirited with the compromises and the stunting. India is nowhere the Hindu Rashtra that the high command had been promising, and on which they had been weaned and brain -washed. The cadres' patience is now wearing thin. They want to strike out on their own even at the cost of losing power. I have seen this mindset before. Between 1977 and 1980, in the undivided Janata Party, I had witnessed the agony in the cadre. At th at time the same trade-offs were pointed out to the disgruntled rank and file by the high command. But the welling of sentiment could not be capped. The seven (younger men then) had therefore to act. They had to abandon the compromises in order to keep t he Janata unity. They thus allowed the government to fall, and then went on their own to form the BJP.

The current situation for the RSS is also characterised by the same paradigm. The RSS has, according to reliable sources, made up its mind that the NDA has taken its cause about as far as it could. The trade-off is no more worth it. Therefore the groundw ork has to be laid clandestinely and in small doses for achieving an absolute majority for the BJP. In other words, in the not-too-distant future, I believe the RSS will call for a mid-term poll when it feels that the ground has been prepared. The RSS ju ggernaut is thus on the move, and the groundwork is already there for the discerning to see. For this to fructify, the RSS has drawn up a game plan which has three components.

THE first component of the game plan is to discredit the RSS' opponents but protect its converts. The First Information Report in the Bofors case is a classic instance of this strategem. In that FIR, Rajiv Gandhi's name figures in the list of accused (n ever mind the column). But those Cabinet Ministers who vetted and signed the deal, or had even held secret negotiations on the "financial parameters" with the Bofors company as representatives of Rajiv Gandhi, are prosecution witnesses. Naturally we can guess what they will say in the witness box. Then there is the case of Arun Nehru, whose hand has been in every cookie jar of every deal of that period. He is our swadeshi Quattrocchi, but then he has now bathed in the Ganga jal of the BJP. He too is a witness, not an accused. The motto is: "Join us and be free. Resist us and see you in court." By a series of such sham prosecutions and managed associate media leaks, the RSS expects to undermine the democratic Opposition in India. They hope to tak e full advantage of the factions of democratic parties as they did with the Janata Dal recently.

The second component of the RSS game plan is to shake public confidence in every institution that can circumscribe or act as a speed-breaker for the RSS juggernaut. The Law Minister has already initiated moves to emasculate the Supreme Court via the judi cial commission and by threatening political monitoring of judicial ethics. Just in case his ilk got too rebellious, he has threatened to amend the law (through an ordinance) to permit foreign lawyers to practise in Indian courts. Briefless Jaffna lawyer s are waiting to fill the vacuum.

The Human Resource Development (HRD) Minister has elevated an RSS activist to the post of a selector of teachers in the National Council for Educational Research and Training, a person who defends his credentials of valour by recording that he once had s hot dead a young Muslim girl to protect her honour and to end her misery while she was being gang-raped by Hindu youth during Partition. That, of course, is Hindutva justice: that is, the minorities can best look forward to liberation through mercy killi ng.

Christians are being targeted by the front organisations of the RSS in order to terrorise and ghetto-ise all minorities. Since Osama bin Laden is stalking the Hindustan peninsula with his millions of dollars and narcotics, for the wily and cautious RSS. Christians are an easy target because there are no Christian terrorists to retaliate. As the period of the Emergency clearly demonstrated, the RSS is astute enough to know when to hunt with the hounds and when to run with the hares. They are smarter than the German fascists in this respect.

The third component of the RSS game plan is to ready the blueprints for implementing the agenda. Of course they cannot implement it in the present Parliament, but it will be their USP (unique selling proposition) for the mid-term poll. They have already scripted the new history texts; they have sent into circulation amongst the faithful how the new Constitution of India should be structured.

ACCORDING to a draft circulated at the 1998 October conference of the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), an RSS front organisation, the following measures are planned: The present bicameral Parliament would be replaced by a three-tier structure. At the apex will be a Guru Sabha of sadhus and sanyasis (read VHP activists) nominated by the President who is elected by a Lok Sabha constituted on a limited electoral college of primary and secondary school teachers, the rolls of which will be prepared by the HRD Ministry and not the Election Commission. All legislation and money bills will have to originate in the Guru Sabha and be passed by it before being sent to the Lok Sabha. The Guru Sabha will also be the judicial commission to nominate Supreme Court Judges, and impeach them. In between the Guru Sabha and the Lok Sabha, there will be a Raksha Sabha of serving armed forces chiefs and retired soldiers who can decide when to declare an Emergency. India would be, it seems, converted into a state w hich is a cross between the Taliban and the Vatican. It is for this scheme that they will seek a mandate in a mid-term poll.

The RSS game plan also has proposals to bridle the electoral system. Adult suffrage is out, but furthermore, the electoral college for the Lok Sabha will not vote for candidates, but for parties under a List System. Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) will be used in all the constituencies. Perhaps it is then easier to rig the outcome. After all, in the 1999 general elections, the BJP and its allies won 34 out of the 45 Lok Sabha constituencies which had EVMs. On that ratio, the NDA should have won 405 se ats of the 544 Lok Sabha constituencies and not 292. EVMs have to be programmed by an engineer to tabulate the votes in its memory. It can easily be programmed to transfer votes of one candidate to another, or one party to another. The EVMs are entirely unsafeguarded today. I suspect it was rigged in the 1999 general elections.

The RSS game plan is thus ready. Only the D-Day for the blitzkrieg is to be determined. Since it appears that the RSS has already been generating momentum on religious fundamentalist issues (for example, Gujarat's Ram temple) and raised the fanatical emo tional temperature (chasing of Christian missionaries), my guess is that this campaign will be taken to a fever pitch by November 9, 2001 (the 1986 date for shilanyas) and then mid-term elections will be called.

Prime Minister Vajpayee will as usual waffle and wobble, but he will not resist. That is his nature; he is a mask for the RSS, as Commissar Govindacharya had once said.

On Subramanian Swamy's Hindutva

After Subramanian Swamy wrote his DNA article on "How to wipe Islamic Terror", there have been many repercussions. On one hand some people in Harvard - a student group - have demanded that Harvard must discontinue academic association with Swamy while some others - the civil liberties group - have advocated that he be allowed to express his opinions.

There have been two rebuttals by Muslim authors in India. One is by Faizur Rehman titled: "Subramanian Swamy‘s Two Faces: Disinformation Campaigns to Divide Indians will Fail" (here) while the other is by Ayub Khan titled: "Subramanian Swamy’s transformation into a merchant of hate" (here). Both of these quote mr. Swamy's earlier article in Frontline (here).

In the Frontline article Mr. Swamy accuses the RSS of being fascist:

"...
Today the creeping fascism of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) is coming upon us not as gradually as imperialism did, nor as suddenly as did the Emergency. Its spread is being calibrated adroitly by seven faceless men of the RSS, the RSS "high command".
..."

He criticizes RSS for being anti-Muslim, targeting Christians, while not being pro-Hindu, and so on, and he ends his article with the following hope:

"...
The vibrations of Mother India will, I hope, be its undoing.
..."

On his party website, Mr. Swamy has claimed that for the past many years he has been espousing the cause of Hindutva, while his party profile speaks of basic secularism! It also appears that Mr. Swamy has broken ice with the Sangh and wrote an article for them, see an example, the article titled Search for Hindu Agenda. Mr. Swamy also wrote a book "Hindus under Siege".

So the question is, what is the reality of this man, Mr. Subramanian Swamy? We would advocate exercising caution. Hindus must be extremely careful while choosing their leaders. We have been back-stabbed so many times that it will be prudent to wear the armor of caution all the time.

We find that RSS is not at all anti-Muslim. Rather we lament that RSS is not sufficiently clear about Islam and therefore Muslims as well. This is a folly that Mr. Swamy commits in greater measure compared to RSS when he daydreams that by "acknowledging with pride that his ancestors were Hindus", the Muslims can be included in the Brihad Hindu Samaj. We reiterate that there may be moderate Muslims but there is no Moderate Islam, and often the best Muslims are the least Muslims.

Despite being confused about Hinduism, the RSS has worked for donkey's years for the Hindus. As we have mentioned earlier, the heart of the RSS is better placed than their head. While Mr. Swamy's brain seems addled on the Islam-Muslim issue, his heart has been unpredictable, to say the least. He has come a long way from terming RSS a fascist organization to writing in their newsletter on Hindutva.

However, as Hindus (followers of Sanatana Dharma), we should focus on clear understanding for ourselves lest our leaders delude us. At the same time, we should always choose a leader who supports Hindus and Hinduism more. So if Swamy supports us more, we may prefer him over RSS and vice versa. At the same time, at the intellectual or thought level, we must have very clear concepts and priorities.

Mr. Swamy, however intelligent he may be, has been a maverick. A look at the articles given at the party site makes it clear that Mr. Swamy has been bed-fellows with strange people, though he may claim that he has had a clear conscience and a consistent philosophy. We need not hold it against him. But the burden of proof must be on him to show that he is for the Hindus. On his party's website he has posted many articles, some of which are on Hindutva . We recommend you read them and form your own judgment. But beware, his party believes in egalitarian and Gandhian ideals! So we would be extremely suspicious of him.

The convoluted logic of RSS exposed once again ....

In a recent press gathering, the chief of RSS, Mr. Mohan Bhagwat has said:

1. “He who is an Indian is a Hindu and he who is not a Hindu is not an Indian.”

2. RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat on Sunday said that those who were Indians were Hindus and if one was not a Hindu he could not be an Indian.

3. "For us the word Hindu did not mean any religion but a way of life,"

We need to look at it a little closely to find out what MB must have meant by this. Some of my friends tell me that this has always been the stance of the RSS.

There are some very interesting consequences arising out of this. Firstly, since MB(RSS) has not defined what a Hindu is, and what an Indian is, this statement is like "Something that we do not know" is same as "Something that we do not know". Fair enough. MB and RSS have enough space for maneuver.

Therefore we have some interesting questions for the RSS. What is the way of life that is called by the name Hinduism? And who is an Indian? Let us try and analyze what these terms can not mean.

Let us call the present geopolitical entity India as India-GP. Similarly let us call the so called geographical Akhand-Bharat of the RSS India-AB. The passport holders of India-GP as Indian(s)-GP. Let us call those who live south-east of the Hindukush valley and in the peninsular region as Hindu-GP. If we add the Tibetan region to this Hindu-GP, we term it as Hindu-AB. Let us call the yet to be defined "way of life" WOL, and those who are Hindus by this way of life Hindu-WOL.

There are two interesting observations to be made here. India-GP, India-AB, Hindu-GP, Hindu-AB are geographic regions. Hindu-WOL is not a geographic definition.

MB's statement consists of two parts besides mentioning that by the term Hindu, MB meant Hindu-WOL.

a. Every Indian is a Hindu,

and

b. A person who is not a Hindu can not be an Indian.

We have following questions:

0. How do we determine who is a Hindu-WOL?

1. Are there Hindu-WOL residing outside India-GP? If yes, then in what sense does MB mean that they are Indians? Does RSS advocate issuing Indian-GP passport to them?

2. Are there people who are not Hindu-WOL within India-GP? If yes, what does RSS recommend towards non-Hindu-WOL living in India-GP? For example, are they to be thrown out of the India-GP?

3. What is the attitude of the RSS towards the government representing the India-GP state?

There is one easy path that RSS can take. They can define that a Hindu-WOL respects all religions. This leads to a funny situation that a Hindu-WOL need not respect Hinduism-WOL, and yet can be a Hindu-WOL . The compulsion to respect Hinduism-WOL is absent because Hinduism-WOL is not a religion!

Another question is: Does a Hindu-WOL have to respect those religions who are bloodthirsty against them, for example those who have vowed to destroy Hindu-WOL?

Mr. MB, now the time is here to stand up and be counted. Your convoluted language will not work. The least you can do to allay these misgivings is to make your notions of Hindu and Indian very very clear, preferably giving examples. Hiding behind the veil of secrecy and ambiguity will be counterproductive.

Headless RSS unable to challenge Hooliganism and Goonda Raj of the Congress:

After Sudarshan's remark against Sonia Gandhi and the subsequent fallout of congress hooliganism, it became further obvious that:

1. RSS lacks brains, rather in most probability it has none. The less we talk about the BJP the better!

2. Congress is a Goonda party just like the Communists and that they "officially" resort to hooliganism. And this is an understatement.

3. India, under Congress rule, is not governed by the Rule of Law, but rather by the unruly and uncouth Congress workers and leaders who are nothing else except brigands masquerading as politicians.

4. Despite constitutional guarantees, there is no "freedom of speech" in this country except for those who want to paint Hindu goddesses in the nude, or those who proclaim from the dais their support for secessionist forces.

The essential story thus far is as follows:

1. Congress charges RSS with the "Hindu terror tag".

2. RSS begins nationwide protest against the allegation.

3. During one such protest meeting, Sudarshan makes remarks against Mrs. Sonia Gandhi.

4. Congress incites its workers, and there is mayhem in many parts of the country.

5. RSS and BJP "distance" itself from the remarks of Sudarshan.

6. RSS and BJP "regret" and say "sorry".

Let us consider the above developments:

In response to Congress attack, besides organizing protests, SP (RSS+BJP) should have brought in libel charges against those who made the remarks. I hope they (SP) have done so, although being brain-dead as they are, I will not be surprized if they have not done so. Recall that they (SP) had failed to react appropriately against even the "Maut ke Saudagar" remark on Narendra Modi by Sonia Gandhi.

The remarks by Sudarshan are his rights to exercise "freedom of speech". Either they are his opinions, to which he is entitled, or he made allegations, which he can at best be forced to defend in a court of law.

Congress by "threatening" has actually committed an offense of "hate speech" amounting to incitement of violence, and whoever from Congress committed this must be tried for "hate speech". If congress has not disowned it as yet, then Congress has to be charged for being an accomplice (Does SP lack legal expert advice?). Further, Sonia Gandhi being the Head of congress Party must be held responsible and should be tried.

Even if RSS and BJP (SP) do not agree with Sudarshan's remarks, they must stand by him for his RIGHT to say what he feels like, and his RIGHT (and Obligation) to defend his remarks. The very fact that (SP) have quickly regretted and supposedly said sorry shows that not only do they not have a "head", that they do not even have a manly heart.

For the interested and enthusiastic reader me mention that there has been a long history of:

(a) Blunders by RSS/BJP indicating a complete absence of intellectual home work.

(b) Utter disregard for the Rule of Law, and wanton display of Hooliganism and Goondaism during Congress Regimes

(c) Inverted Freedom of Speech

and so on. However, even before we analyze the recent events, let's hazard a guess and make a prediction for Bihar:

In most likelihood, Nitish Kumar will ditch BJP no matter what the outcome in Bihar elections.

This will expose the "intelligence" of Thayee, Sushma Swaraj.

One often wonders if an appropriate description of the RSS-BJP combine could be as follows:

Disciplined set of workers in RSS devoted and dedicated to the brainless leadership of RSS. And this brainless leadership makes these set of workers available for manipulation by the utterly selfish and consummately stupid leadership of BJP.

So it becomes a case of BJP (Brainless Jokers' Party) manipulating and exploiting RSS (Really Stupid Sangh)

Let's return to the original theme and list out a few examples under various categories:

(I) Brainlessness of RSS/BJP

1. Golwalkar's praising of the Prophet in his book.

2. AB Vajpeyee praised Indira Gandhi as Durga

3. LK Advani "regretted" demolition of the structure in Ayodhya.

4. The goof by Bangaru Laxman during the sting operation conducted by Tehelka.

5. The Jinnah episode demonstrating the hypocrisy and stupidity of LK Advani, stupidity of Jaswant Singh.

6. Election debacle in 2009 showing stupidity of Arun Jaitley and Sushma Swaraj.

7. Sushma Swaraj belittling Narendra Modi to appease Nitish Kumar.

8. Sushma Swaraj meddling in Karnataka affairs. If she has any brains, she should apply where it is needed not to destabilize BJP's own government merely to settle ego-scores.

9. Unmanliness of B S Yeddyruyappa while handling the first crisis in his government in Karnataka.

10. SP (RSS/BJP) never question the principles of "Secularism", "Socialism", "father of the nation" status of Mohandas, and undeserving hallowed status of Jawahar. Rather they term themselves "Truly Secular", "Socialist", reverential towards Mohandas, and admiring towards Jawahar.

11. Similarly there has been no questioning of Obama's remark absolving Islam of the guilt of terror.

12. Unpardonable injustice done to Kalyan Singh, Uma Bharti, and possibly scores of "dedicated workers" who sacrificed a lot for BJP.

(II) Absence of Rule of Law during Congress Regimes

1. Dilly dallying in the hanging of Afzal Guru, the reasons being cited as "fear of probable law and order problems!".

2. Anti-Sikh riots of 1984 which were orchestrated by Congress leaders, executed by Muslims, and were "strategically" portrayed as Hindu-Sikh riots!

Always remember that for Hindus Congress is a non-hindu party, but whenever Congress has any fight with non-hindus, it portrays the conflict as hindu-non-hindu conflict.

(III) Inverted Freedom of Speech in this country

1. MF Hussein and Arundhati Roy being given protection while Sudarshan being harrassed. Protection to nude paintings of Hindu goddesses, but pressure applied on Google to remove a video clip showing a Mohandas look-alike doing pole dancing.

2. Congress leaders openly issuing violent threats while a senior citizen is being hounded for expressing his opinion about another mortal!

(IV) Hooliganism and Goonda Raj of Congress

Congress has always shown itself to be a collection of unruly and uncouth brigands masquerading as politicians headed by the traitorous Nehru-Gandhi family.

3. Support for Mulayam Singh's 1990 massacre of Kar Sevaks.

4. Corruption e.g. Bofors and so on.

5. Complete disregard for the Rule of Law during Emergency period.

(V) Unmanliness of BJP Leadership

1. Bangaru Laxman goofing during the Tehelka sting-operation.

2. BS Yeddyruyappa crying during the previous Karnataka crisis.

3. ABV/LKA/BJP regretting 1992 demolition.

These are surely truncated lists! Nevertheless they suffice now for the purpose of demonstrating the claims in the present context.

And so what's the moral of the story? It is high time that Hindus demanded a separate state for them. If there are Islamic countries, Christian countries and what not, then why not a Hindu country as well? And note that we take Hinduism = Hindu-Way-Of-Life = Sanatana Dharma.

Congress talks nonsense about RSS-BJP

If wolves were politicians, they would accuse deers of harboring violence since they grow horns! Well, the Congress is worse than Wolves in Sheep's clothes. If there is one thing on which we agree with Mohandas, then it is with his wish that Congress must cease to exist.

Earlier, until the times of Indira Gandhi, the American secret services, the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) was the hidden evil behind everything. Indira was so foolish that once she blamed even the failure of the monsoon on the hidden hand of CIA.

However, now the times have changed. The Congress has sold itself out to the USA, and has its usual breakfast with ass-licking the USA. But, then who do they blame for all of their own follies? The Congress has found an easy target, the RSS and the BJP.

The Congress is promoting a three layered propaganda on this matter.

1. RSS-BJP are Hindu parties.

2. There is Saffron terror, and is fueled by SP (Sangh Parivar = RSS+BJP+...)

3. Saffron Terror, if there is any, should be eliminated.

We claim that each of this is patently and blatantly false.

1. SP (RSS_BJP) are not Hindu parties. It is very very unfortunate that in our country there are no Hindu parties! Headless RSS, follows the footsteps of Golwalkar who had deep respect for that pedophilic psychopath, otherwise known as prophet muhammad. BJP calls itself nationalistic while its leaders and mentors propound their confused concepts of Hindutva.

RSS-BJP are secular parties who are soft on Muslim-communal parties like the Congress, The Communists and so on, by calling them pseudo-secularists. SP, sadly and unfortunately, are not opposed to secularism.

The fact therefore is that RSS-BJP are secular and not Hindu parties.

2. The Congress was never knowledgeable about the difference between crime and punishment, evil deeds and retribution, and unprovoked action and reaction under sever provocation. Their philanderer father Jawahar always thought of Rana Pratap, Shivaji, and even revolutionaries like Bhagat Singh "misguided youths". Those who have been unfortunate enough to read the Discovery (Distortion) of India by that imbecile would know what we are talking about.

Thus Congress hastens to categorize legitimate reaction as Terror, and the peace-loving hard-working people from whom such reaction emerges as Saffron!

Thus, there is no such thing as Saffron Terror at the moment.

3. It is unfortunate enough that there is no such thing as saffron terror. After all a large group of people, whose rights have been callously and brutally both denied and violated for centuries, are expected to react. But unfortunately Hindus are too peace-loving to explore other options. Now, in the absence of even a semblance of saffron terror, to intend to eliminate, while ignoring the already existing terror from Islam and Communism, is evil.

Recall that the Congress has never termed Naxalites and Indian Mujahideen as Red-terror (Communist Terror), and Green Terror (Islamic Terror), which is how they should rightly be termed as. And given the preponderance of communist terror and islamic terror, the occurrence of saffron terror should be seen as a rather delayed reaction.

Recall that the stupid and evil Rahul Gandhi proclaimed in UP that if the Congress had been in power, the disputed structure at Ayodhya would remain intact. He has no similar sympathies for other religions.

Thus, completely contrary to what the Congress claims:

1. BJP-RSS are not Hindu parties.

2. There is no Saffron Terror.

3. Even if there was any Saffron Terror, it does not deserve any worse treatment that Communist and Islamic Terror.

We would rather exhort as earlier:

O Hindus, realize that no politician is representing you! So you need to choose and send politicians from among yourselves. Make new politicians, make new political parties. Encourage people with spine to become your representatives. Otherwise you will be led by a bunch of Mohandas and Jawahar clones. And surely they will lead you to your doom!

Also we would like to state that:

1. There should be Hindu Political Parties.

2. Hindu youth must ready and equip themselves so that they can react appropriately to oppression and tyranny on Hindus.

3. So long as Communist Terror, and Islamic Terror and their likes exist, Saffron Terror (Hindu Terror) must thrive and flourish, and strive for Hindu self-preservation.

Some important questions about Bharat Swabhiman Andolan (BSA), Baba Ramdev (BR), and RSS

A reader, Kiran, has posed two very important questions in my blog entry on Sangh Parivar (SP). And they are:

1. Does BSA or Baba Ramadev support Dar ul Uloom as a back up plan if his drive for Hindutva in BSA fails?

2. Has RSS too become secular(so called) in nature and in action? They started Andolans, but why it stopped/fazed?

Background:

Before we address these questions, we need to understand the mind-set of Hindus in India, and how that mind-set has come about. If we take a look at the state of our nation, it is not difficult to observe that:

1. Hindus think that being Secular is a great virtue, Hinduism is Secular and India is, rightly, a Secular country.

2. Non-Hindus (Muslims, Christians, Buddhists, Jains, Sikhs ...) think that India is a Hindu country, but it should be a Secular country, and it is the responsibility of Hindus in India to ensure that India becomes a truly Secular country.

Contemporary History:

Let me outline a few points from my understanding of the contemporary history.

1. Mohandas, who is touted as the role model for Indians, always claimed that he was a Sanatani Hindu, and therefore arrogated himself to be the sole representative of all the Hindus, was in his actions always an appeaser of non-Hindus, especially the Muslims.

Mr. Nathuram Godse has very clearly and skillfully analyzed and presented this aspect, in his defense statement.

2. Jawahar, who was Mohandas's illegitimate intellectual child was proactively anti-traditions, and since he identified Hinduism as representing Indian tradition, he was proactively and violently anti-hindu. That he was opposed to his daughter, Indira, marrying a Muslim, is another story, but it reveals how hypocritical this man was.

3. Mr. Hedgewar, the founder of the RSS, perceived the plight of Hindus, as he noticed that during most riots, which were quite frequent in his times (early twentieth centuries), Muslims were aggressors and Hindus were at the receiving end.

4. Mohandas proclaimed that a typical Muslim was a brave bully while a typical Hindu was a coward.

This might well have been true, and Mr. Hedgewar rightly wanted to change the attitude of the Hindus.

5. Further, as a consequence of Jawaharian direction in education, Communists of the likes of Romila Thapar, wrote, rather rewrote a doctored history of Indian subcontinent. The whole design was to achieve mass-indoctrination of the following two points :

a. Hinduism preaches tolerance, is secular, and is open from all sides.

b. Anything in Hinduism, that is other than the above, is superstition, casteism, and sexually perverted stories.

The Mistakes:

While Jawahar was being touted as a great intellectual (phew), and Mohandas was being hoisted as the role model (huh); most Hindus sucked up to it. And as a consequence of Jawaharian education with Mohandas as the role model, the above mentioned mass-indoctrination has been eminently successful.

Hedgewar entrusted the intellectual leadership with Madhavrao Sadashivrao Golwalkar, and in my opinion, he was less than equal to the job. Notwithstanding his other insights and his spiritual-intellectual competence, he expressed, at some places, his greatest admiration for the founder of Islam. And that has been one of his greatest undoings.

In my opinion, Hedgewar is the heart (emotion) of RSS, while Golwalkar is the head (reason) of RSS. It is not difficult to appreciate that while the heart of RSS may be passable, but its head is undeniably egregious.

The Present:

Owing to the success of the evil design of the education system, most Hindus have wrong ideas and even worse suicidal tendencies regarding India as the nation.

In that sense, it is not surprising that even some of the so called leaders, be it Atal Bihari Vajpeyee or Lal Krishna Advani, exhibit such rank stupidity when it comes to the survival or security of Hindus.

Needless to add that I have skipped the mention of Congress-Prime-Ministers as most of them including the current PM and super-PM, except Lal Bahadur Shastry, have been arch traitors, and have callously betrayed the Hindu electorate, who invested their confidence in them.

The members of the RSS, as well as Baba Ramdev are the products of the same educational-ethos. So it is not surprising that they have imbibed Mohandasian and Jawaharian instincts.

The Conclusion:

In light of the above, my answers to the questions you have posed are:

1. Baba Ramdev might shamelessly surrender to the Dar ul Uloom, even if he gets the support of very large number of hindus.

2. RSS is Secular in nature and in action, because they allow their Golwalkarian head to over-ride their (hopefully) Hedgewarian heart. Thus they start with a heart, and then stop without a head.

A Recommended Strategy for KJP (BSY)

This time BSY drew sufficient courage and separated himself from the BJP. While he is seeking the support of all, his detractors are calling him a leader of merely Lingayats. His detractors forget that it this mere leader  who won Karnataka for the BJP.

Be that as it may, for our analysis, let us suppose that there indeed are vote-banks. Thus the BJP must be at the very least afraid of losing the lingayat votes, while the possible outcome of such a swing in votes can be a matter of long and winding debate.

The two parties that are openly drooling are the JD(S) and the Congress. For even if they gain no additional seats - something that is very unlikely - they do gain in the sense that any loss to the BJP is a gain for them, viz. JD(S) and Cong. Therefore, these two will push the wedge (of BSY into BJP) even more.

Optimists in the BJP would like to believe that BSY is another Keshubhai Patel, who will lose and marginally dent BJP's victory. JD(S) and Cong wish that BSY is another Kalyan Singh whose exit will wreak havoc and decimate the BJP for long. Such prospects have made Mayawati join the beeline of droolers.

The man himself, that is BSY, must be wanting to become a Modi of Karnataka. Someone who wins on `Hindutva' and then `Development' planks.

In our opinion, BSY's wanting to become Modi is legitimate, however for BSY it is neither necessary nor desirable. We would rather want BSY to try and do even better. Most importantly we would like BSY to do better by being different from all of them. Thus KJP could focus on the following things:

1. KJP must ignore all allegations of being potentially dynastic, and unashamedly state that they are not averse to being dynastic. After all Congress, JD(S), RJD, and all have been shamefully dynastic.

With this point, he hits JD(S), Cong., and BSP ,etc., all in one stroke.

2. BSY must not be afraid of being called a dictator. However, the key is to have new ideas and the courage to accept responsibilities. This include the glories of successes and the blames of failures.

With the above point he becomes structurally similar to Modi. This may be difficult for BSY who has generally appeared to be a cry-baby, but it would be better if BSY proved this image to be wrong. But then what can BSY do to become clean like Modi?

3. BSY must blow the whistle on all, JD(S), Cong., BJP, himself, all. The key is all. Including, the truth regarding Santosh Hegde as well as H R Bharadwaj being the agents of anti-Hindu forces. Once the dirtiness of all is in public view, BSY can claim the mantle of being a genuine crusader against corruption. In this way he could also pave the way for something like this.

What about development? BSY can easily emphasize that he could play the Gujarat model of growth. If Shivraj Chauhan and Raman Singh can do development, BSY too can.

However,  there is one point, where BSY can do better than Modi. This is the crucial point which needs even more courage than doing point 3, which involves only being a small-time whistle-blower.

4. BSY must question the Universal True Secular Development model. This UTSD model delivers development to all, including Muslims, therefore including Islam and its inevitable corollary Jihad. No secularists whether pseudo or true are questioning Secularism itself. And all of them are deafeningly silent about the threat of Islam. BSY must initiate this debate on the Islam Question.

The above can have two possible consequences. One is that he might lose even the lingayat votes and become an eternal nobody. Second is that he will gain both ligayat and hindu votes. This will make him bigger than Modi.

Why should BSY take the risk of the former possibility? Let us analyze that in some detail.

(a) BSY built RSS and BJP in Karnataka from the ground up. We are sure that he had some love for the Hindus which made him do so. Now that very Hindu society is under threat, in spite of BJP and RSS, for they have sold themselves onto true-secularism.

(b) BSY has already made some money and he has already been a chief-minister. Now by winning elections he does no better than merely regaining the same. However, this win is not certain.

(c) With a safe secular strategy, even if he wins, he will at best become another Shivraj Chauhan or Raman Singh. However, if he loses, he descends into ignominy, though he may have the satisfaction of revenge if he can cause the downfall of BJP in Karnataka. More over, afterwards even if returns to BJP he will become a toothless tiger. The black mark of being back-stabber to the parent organization would persist as well.

(d) On the other hand, taking the risk if BSY wins, he becomes a hero, a new initiator, someone who even eclipses Modi. Alternatively, even if he loses, he starts a new chapter in Indian politics.

In our opinion, the number of Hindus who are strongly disenchanted with the true-secularism of BJP will vote for him in droves. The grassroots workers in BJP and RSS will love BSY and subvert the true-secular forces. Most importantly, BSY who possibly loves RSS would initiate a service for Hindus for which even the grassroots RSS-BJP will remain eternally emotionally loyal to him.

(e) Thus taking this risky path BSY will be able to surpass both Kalyan Singh and Modi; the former in his commitment to Hindus, and the latter is his commitment to cleaning up corruption.

It must be clear that what we have proposed is something that every politician who loves Hindus and Hinduism must do. In our opinion, it is a risk that BSY must find worthwhile.

Shiv Sena and Nitish Kumar outcompeting each other in DF-ery!

Just in our previous post we had suggested that NDA could mull Bal Thackeray as their Presidential candidate. We turned out to be a BIG DF in this case. [Remark: This should also lay to rest any notion that we reserve the choicest word DF only for others and that we are restrained while criticizing ourselves].

Shiv Sena has established once again that, contrary to however much they may claim, they are merely Maharashtra's Shiv Sena only for Marathi Manoos and NOT Shivaji Maharaj's Sena for Hindus. In the last Presidential election too they supported Ms. Patil merely because she was from Maharashtra, and also a Marathi. We wonder what Shiv Sena would decide if Congress made Dawood Ibrahim (also from Maharashtra) their Presidential candidate. Congress is surely capable of doing this, if it can make Sonia (an italian maid) the super Prime Minister then there is nothing stopping them from making Dawood (a Jihadi-bhai) their Presidential candidate. We are sure Shiv Sena would have rejected Dawood, but not because he is a Jihadi (though they will claim so), but because he is NOT a Marathi, despite being a "Keskar"!

So this time the Marathi Manoos party is supporting a Bangali Babu ostensibly to maintain the dignity of the President's office. Their (Shiv Sena's) other obsession is "consensus". You, Shiv Sena fools, do you think you did the dignity of President's office any good by supporting Ms. Patil? If you really think so, your brains must be in your trouser seats. And this time you are doing worse by supporting Pranab. Talking of consensus, Mohandas (like the evil V P Singh) was another consensus guy! The Shiv Sena of Shivaji took guidance from Ramdas, and this Shiv Sena is now taking guidance from Mohandas!

Giving a stiff competition to Shiv Sena (in DF-ery of course) is Nitish Kumar, the new Secular Prince on the block. In a recent interview he made it amply clear that only a non-Modi (Narendra Modi) can be the candidate for PM's post. This joker wants "external forces" to remain out of Bihar, except that he wants "external money" to flow into Bihar! Mr. Nitish Kumar, you entered Maharashtra claiming you had a right to be anywhere in India, and now you think that Narendra Modi has no right to be in Bihar? Our number eleven foot! Nitish Kumar is talking secession and must be charged with sedition. Maoists want to carve out a separate nation and Nitish is going a step further, he wants to carve out a beggar state! Mr. Nitish Kumar, Bihar deserves a leader much much better than you are and you will learn this the hard way now. Bihar is the state where Dr. Rajendra Prasad was born. We mentioned in our previous post that Rajendra Babu's "Love for Hinduism" was a thorn in the eye for Jawahar. Now this stupid ass wants to become the blue eyed boy of Jawahar by becoming a Muslim-appeaser! Another fool, Sushil Modi, said that PM should be like Hajpeyi. I think this Sushil moron Modi thinks that Hajpeyi was from Bihar for his name contained "Bihari", and a gene akin to Marathi-Manoos of Shiv Sena must have kicked in!

The third big fool, Brajesh Mishra, possibly rightly said that Modi can become PM only if BJP comes to power on its own. He is confusing the issues. Possibly with only Modi (as PM-candidate) can the BJP come to power all on its own! Brajesh is an out and out Hajpeyi's back-side licker, much like Sudheendra Kulkarni being Advani's comfort, and he mentioned that there was no comparison between Modi and Hajpeyi. We wonder if this indeed is the case, for Modi himself is much like Hajpeyi. As we mentioned earlier, Modi is somewhat a Socialist and somewhat an anti-Hindu, and the only difference between him and Hajpeyi may be that he may not be as much a Socialist and an anti-Hindu as the wind-bag Hajpeyi was, but he remains quite close. However, that is not the point. The ass Brajesh Mishra thinks that it is an awful thing to be unlike Hajpeyi. Oh our sainted aunt! We think there are fools, then there are damn fools and then there are Brajesh Mishras. Mr. Mishra, mark our words, however many times people like Hajpeyi become PM of this nation, it will always be a matter of PRIDE to be unlike Hajpeyi (and Jawahar). Jawahar too was a PM of this country, so is it a good thing to be like him? What logic?

Another noteworthy point is that Hindutva is alleged to be a "upper caste" (read Brahmin) ploy. Now take a look: Jawahar (putatively Kashmiri Pandit!), Morarji Desai (Brahmin), ... Hajpeyi (Brahmin), etc.  Now, Shivanand Tiwari JD(U) ... Talking about being anti-Modi, recall Brajesh Mishra, Nitin Gadkari, Sanjay Joshi (all Brahmins)... We wonder how Hindutva is seen as a Brahmin-ploy! Rather we must suspect "Secularism" to be "Brahmin-ploy".

Notwithstanding these seemingly sad developments, we feel vindicated by these events. We have been mentioning it for a while that RSS has become the hand-maiden for all these anti-Hindus by proxy as BJP has become the  concubine for these anti-Hindu opportunists. Thus RSS slogs for BJP and then BJP kicks the RSS butt. Similarly BJP slogs for its NDA "allies" and they kick the BJP's butt. O you strategists and planners of RSS and BJP, are you listening?

Savarkar's and Golwalkar's Descriptions/Views regarding the map-problem. Part-II

In this article I will try to present Vinayak Damodar Savarkar's (VDS for short)  and Madhavrao Sadashivrao Golwalkar's (MSG for short) views about the map-problem. Please note that for seculars both VDS and MSG are same. However, more often than not even the non-seculars treat VDS and MSG as same. There are commonalities between them, as  well as differences between them. I will try to present my perspective on them.

Caveat:

I digress a bit here. There are wrirings on the web, for example Ajit Vadakayil etc., who allege that VDS was Chitapavan jew who strived to sabotage India's freedom struggle. Similar allegations are made by others about MSG and his relation to Nazism etc.

1. Often even those who criticize VDS, hold GDS (Ganesh, elder brother of VDS) in high esteem, as a true patriot (which he was). Now if VDS was a Chitpawan, GDS too was. Thus being Chitpawan (whatever that means) can not be the issue. We must go by what one/they did.

2. There is a lot of hullabaloo about VDS apologizing to the British crown. Presently, I entertain the following. We must recall that most wars (especially by Abrahamics) usually end up as victory of deception (by Abrahamics) over honor (of non-Abrahamics). So it is important not to fall into the "honor trap".  May be as Chitpawan Jew VDS knew how Abrahamics subverted Hindus by making use of such "high morals" of Hindus. And he didn't want to fall into that trap. Why be honest with someone who is dishonest and out to deceive you? I think VDS followed this principle. Elder brother Ganesh never apologized, and he bravely suffered many inhuman tortures. However, that need not make us look at VDS as "inferior". May be the two brothers held different views on how to fight.

3. The most serious allegation is that VDS gave away secrets of "freedom fighters" to the British. While this is damn serious, I am not aware of any concrete evidence which establishes this. I am open to correction.

So I would say that we can suspend making judgement about the persona of VDS till further evidence, however his theories and propositions are for us to see and evaluate independent of what he was.

4. There may be, and are, many valid arguments against MSG (likewise Subhas Bose etc too), but not having non-laudatory views about Nazism is not one of them. It is like, there are many valid arguments against BRAmbedkar, but his being against Islam is not one of them. Coming back, British were much more evil. They used brave Indian soldiers as cannon fodder and yet paid no homage to them. Hindus must realize that both the world wars were significantly won by their soldiers.

5. MSG was supposedly soft regarding Mahomet and Islam. That, for me, is a more valid point against him. I write about this issue later in this article, when I mention racial aspects.

With this caveat, let me begin,

In the first half of the twentieth century, (especially during first world war) monarchies and kingdoms fell apart and in their place there was rise of nation-states. And the question of what constitutes a nation in the nation-state became important. That the state must provide security, criminal justice, etc were a given, but what more, or what less should the state provide also entered the discourse.

Two sets of answers emerged. For nation, ideas of Racial nation and Propositional nation were presented; while for State ideas of Dictatorial and Democratic states came about.

Notice that we are ignoring the economic aspect here. Except that we wish to emphasize that democracies are inherently socialistic in their economic models. It less often leads to welfare, rather it more often leads to cronyism.

Racial nation model is that a nation is a group of closely related people by blood (therefore language, culture etc). Propositional nation model proposes some ideas of justice and then how to go about ensuring justice. The Marxist model presented a call for International unity against injustice. Injustice was defined to be class-exploitation by haves of have-nots.

This too is a long story and well beyond the scope of this article. For us, it suffices to say that, India did not fit in into any of these categories. It was not a monolithic race (I do not know what modern genetic studies say, I am not an expert), nor had people formulated any single proposition that could be used as unifying theme. At the same time, deep down all Indians (read Hindus) felt that they were one, and they were inspired by Vivekananda's speeches which forcefully brought out aspects which provided at least some glimpses of the timeless unity that we have had.

In this backdrop, VDS attempted his formulation for India. I think that VDS was not only quite intelligent, he also had (to begin with) a lot of compassion for the Indian muslims, who he saw as brothers of Hindus who had converted for some reason or ther other, and in most likelihood under duress. He built his theory of Hindutva, and in it we can see his compassion for "racial Indian people". Thus his hindutva can be seen as racially compassionate proposition. Most probably he was also aware of the pitfalls of internationalisms, so he put forth his perspective which focussed on a territorially bounded region.

As part of building further background, let us consider SriRamakrisha-Vivekananda and Ramdas-Shivaji pairs. SRK was abstract and storehouse of spiritual energy and Vivekananda was concrete and a pragmatic appliance which could manifest the energy drawn from his guru. A similar model can be used to understand Ramdas and Shivaji. In my opnion, VDS wanted to start a movement which will be even more concrete (sociopolitically and socioeconomically) version of the relatively abstract ideas that were proposed by Vivekananda. In this sense, we can also view Vivekananda-VDS as Ramdas-Shivaji pair. (Please note that these analogies are approximate).

However, VDS was not merely intelligent and compassionate, he was also a very pragmatic man. Thus VDS at once set out to tackle real on the ground problems. Casteism, untouchability, inter-caste marriages etc. were questions that he wrote boldly about.  Similarly he forthrightly wrote about whether Hindus should get English education, whether they should join armed forces, whether they should acquire and use modern technology, etc. He promoted whatever he thought would strengthen political strength and unity, and he opposed whatever he thought would enervate political unity and strength. He was one of the first who thought that ghar-wapasi could be and should be attempted, and was also the first to realize that ghar-wapasi was not enough and might not succeed either. One may disagree with the solutions he provided, but one can not deny that VDS DID attempt solving problems (in a political way) which most were unwilling to attempt.

Coming to MSG, on most racial compassion and territorial inspiration issues, MSG was similar to VDS. MSG was focused on answering the question: what kind of nation India is? While VDS focused on winning political freedom from foreign rule. Thus MSG and VDS differed regarding what actions were to be undertaken. As persons, MSG was supposedly very spiritual, and VDS was an atheist.  MSG favored "spiritual" Hindutva over VDS's "political" Hindutva. This also led to disagreements and divergent actions.

Thus, while VDS started Hindu-Mahasabha, a political party; MSG's RSS turned out to be closer to Ramkrishna Mission of Vivekananda. While MSG thought (Correct me if I am wrong) Islam could be accommodated within "spiritual" Hindutva, VDS quickly (and rightly) realized that Islam (and therefore, in general muslims) were adversaries of Hindus. While VDS dabbled in ghar-wapasi and quickly nearly abandoned it, RSS is still almost obsessed with it.

Later, therefore, VDS became quite bitter about RSS. He thought of it as a wasteful enterprise which was destined to fail. Now I don't fully agree with VDS, but I sympathize with VDS more than I do with MSG. One could conjecture that MSG thought much longer term, etc., but these are endless debates. Our dharma, sanAtana dharma is surely not about sacrificing long-term for the short-term or vice versa. Rather, it is about striking the right balance. It could even be that different individuals can strike different balances. VDS was vindicated when RSS realized that it had to enter active politics, even if by proxy, through Bharatiya Jan Sangh (now BJP).

I guess that RSS is closer to being racialist. I do not consider race realism as wrong per se. However, we must not ignore the following: people who are highly religious will sacrifice race for religion, and vice versa. Indians (if they are a race) are highly religious (you can see Indian muslims, christians being more religious muslims and christians than many other races). So Indian non-Hindus are easily excitable on religious grounds, even against their own racial brothers (Hindus).

Further, I think we need not consider MSG and VDS as contradictory, we can use their understandings as complementary. For example, if we ignore Gandhi's suicidal rather Hindu genocidal non-violence, his "solution" (in terms of Swadeshi/Khadi) was an economic-solution for the war against British imperialism.

Just as an aside, imagine what would have happened if we had combined VDS-political-pragmatism and Gandhi-economics in terms of Khadi-guns and Khadi-grenades against the British.

Now, I am in a position to present VDS and MSG views on the map-problem. I understand that this will ruffle a lot of feathers. So I must mention as I mentioned in my previous article, while it is caricatural  but intended to bring out essential and differentiating features. Also, that I am no scholar (nor do I intend to become one) and open to correction.

 VDS description/view:

Past: It was a glorious period, and was also mostly highly advanced in terms of knowledge of the material world. They had most ingredients of "modern science" too.

Hindus lost because, inter alia, they neglected political pragmatism, and pursued impractical idealism,  VDS initially thought that racial solidarity and cultural pride would overcome malignant natures of Islam and Chriastianity, but later realized otherwise, and understood them as adversaries.

Present: Major corrections are needed. Political pragmatism is foremost among them. Cultural pride must be accompanied by concrete practical actions.

Desired Future: A culturally vibrant India which has regained its glorious past, along with modern science, technology, development,  equality, and most important of all, political pragmatism.

and

MSG description/view:

Past: It was a glorious period, and was also mostly highly advanced in terms of knowledge of the material world. They had most ingredients of "modern science" too.

Hindus lost because, inter alia, they swerved from their spiritual ideals and therefore lost moral courage.

Islamic/Christian invaders were bad and they strove to destroy Hindu Civilization. But that was because they were Arabs and Europeans, and materialistic. Hinduism has spiritual wherewithal to absorb the essence of Islam and Chriastianity which are good. When that happens, Indian muslims, and Indian christians will be assimilated in the pan-Hindutva vision.

Present: Major corrections are needed, but the corrections are in spiritual and cultural plane. If we replenish spiritual pursuit then the resultant cultural rejuvenation will resuscicate our spiritual nation.

Desired Future: We will regain most of the Past along with modern science, technology, development, and equality. And it will be long lasting for it will be based on and accompanied by a spiritual awakening.

More intelligent people must consider combining: Political pragmatism and love for Hindus of VDS, de-globalization (inspired, say by, Gandhi, but without necessarily rejecting modern technology) as part of economic war against globalism, extending Ambedkar's understanding of Islam to all Abrahamisms (including Judaism), MSG's love for "spiritual" unity of Hindu-Civilization.

In order to save ourselves as Hindus of Akhand Bharat. We need not sacrifice Akhand-Bharat for International-Hinduism, nor do we need to sacrifice Hinduism for Indian-subcontinental-unity. I will write on this some other time, but I prefer a Hindu Civilizational Territory over Extended Akhand Bharat.

Monotheism, RSS taking over BJP, and Crisis in BJP in Karnataka

Prologue:

I would comment on each the above points independently, but let me begin by giving my one line comment on these.

And those with weaker hearts and/or those who have delicate sensibilities, please excuse me for my explicit comments.

One Liner:

Each point epitomises, in a summary manner; thoughts, words, and actions of a Dumb Fuck, hereafter abbreviated as DF, or df.

Details:

1. On the Article on Monotheism

Fallacy:

The article is another attempt to understand Islam and Islamic point of view, with an aim to accommodating them.

Fact:

Rather than beating about the bush, we must unambiguously understand that Islam is incompatible with non-Islam, and therefore with us. Islam is non-reformable, always at WAR with others, and is mercilessly no-holds-barred including deception against non-Islamic faiths. So we rather be on our guard.

2. On RSS Taking over BJP

Fallacy:

BJP has swerved a lot from its lofty ideals while RSS, and Sangh Parivar have ideological clarity and depth to set the BJP right.

Fact:

BJP and its mentor RSS (and its family Sangh-Parivar) both have almost always been and are a buch of DFs. Time and again, they repeat the same mistakes. They have no ideological clarity, intellectual depth, or emotional understanding of the matter. They cheated people on Ram-Janmabhoomi in their hurry to form a government. Later, pig-headed leaders like Mr. Pramod Mahajan (in 2004) provided the ill-fated direction to the BJP, while Sushma Swaraj, and Arun Jaitley (in 2009) were busy enacting a Congress-like-high-command and installing L K Advani in the throne of a Sonia-of-BJP.

Indian politicians have Jawahar-meme in them, and therefore political parties have the congress-meme. Each politician is trying to become a Gandhi-Nehru of his constituency/region. And they are always sure that they have all the answers even before they even know the questions, an unmistakable symptom of a DF. Jawahar indeed was a DF, and so are his memetic clones. This is true across all political parties. Absence of fundamental and basic ingredients like intra-party democracy, a functional disagreement handling mechanism, a healthy platform to redress dissent ; all of these are symptoms of a sick political creed. Examples galore. YSR, Chandrababu Naidu in Andhra; Bal Thakery, Raj Thakery in Maharashtra, Vasundhara Raje in Rajasthan, etc., the list is almost endless.

BJP started out with claims of offering a genuinely different alternative. They may claim that they had (more so during Jansangh days) genuinely good intentions too. But we must be aware that good intentions are only a beginning, and hence they alone are not enough. But the speed with which they have replicated a congress within them is astonishing.

It is worth mentioning that an erstwhile leader of BJP (someone who was called 'the windbag' by the inimitable Sitaram Goel) took great pride in the fact that in his younger days he used to be compared with the great Jawahar.

3. On the Crisis in BJP in Karnataka

Fallacy:

B S Yeddyurappa is an honest innocent man who has been wronged by dissidence, and intra party subterfuge.

Fact:

While those at the helm of SP (both) are intellectually negligible, their state-leadership is comfortably ensconced in unmanliness. BSY wept in front of the mainstream media (MSM) like a pussy. He does not deserve any sympathy. He betrays pussillanimity, and yet seeks to be a leader! Even Baligar and Shobha would be happier if he was manly.

Suggestions:

1. We must be extremely alert against any efforts to portray Islam in a sanitized way. Islam is a sick ideology with a psychopath, mass-murderer, paedophile as its founder and eternal role-model for its followers. Its history is a story in deception and violence. Don't be deceived.

2. We, the admirers and followers of the Sanatana Dharma, need to found new political parties. We need to shift the platform of political debate, rather than eternally conceding ground to our adversaries in the name of tolerance and non-violence. We need to diligently do our home work and chalk out a lucid framework in which we can work together, where we can dissent, and also have a reasonable mechanism to redress dissent and our disagreements.

3. Karnataka situation is precariously poised and, I am afraid, doomed. After providing some more tamasha on TV, both Yeddys and Reddys will bid adieu to people and hold on to their money. May be elections again! We the people have to hold ourselves up and proceed. It is high time that we realize that politics is too serious a work to be left for Yeddys, Reddys, Gowdas, Swamys, Siddus, Prakashs etc. Don't hesitate to ask those among your friends and relatives, who promise competent performance, to contest elections, and deliver what the people vote them for, i.e. good governance. And remember, lesser government is good governance. Big government is almost always bad government. Let us move towards Freedom and Responsibility.

Epilogue:

Please do express your opinions freely. If you found what I have written to be outrageous, well that was my intention. Hindus in India have, unfortunately, become so docile and submissive, that they need a waking up. Once they are awake, I am sure they will do the needful. They have been a great civilization, and they will surely be one.

Congress is the biggest Conspiracy

In our very last post we had said: "Sane persons will often consider it below their dignity to think about walking-talking containers of poisonous fecal matter exemplified by Sibal and Singh." However, once again we are forced to comment on one of them. Democracy as an ideal is surely far from being flawless, however democracy as a mechanism can often be made to work reasonably efficiently. But that will be the topic some other day.

Here we want to point out how absolute filth is passing itself off as "leaders" and "peoples' representatives". And who else than Dogvijay Singh to take the cake again. We remind the readers that Congress has always been very fond of Conspiracy theories. Jawahar used to babble about conspiracy theories when sane people warned him about China. And after his feeble intelligence we once had a decent hope in Shri Lal Bahadur Shastry. Unfortunately Shri Shastry died under mysterious circumstances, alleged to have been killed by the Soviets. That was the only time, when there indeed was a conspiracy, however Congress never gave any importance to it. And then it was Indira Gandhi who once famously blamed a conspiracy hatched by the CIA and Mossad - Mossad being Israeli secret service - as the cause for the failure of the Monsoon.

Thus, the one and only explanation of all inconvenient Truths, for the Congress is its favorite Conspiracy Theory. The latest in this line is the claim that the black-ink incident in Swami Ramdev's gathering was stage managed by the RSS. The readers might recall that we have regularly opined that the RSS has a decent heart and an empty head. And Congress alleges that this RSS is cleverer than Congress and hatches conspiracies against it. This must be some kind of a joke! And it is the same DS again who has come out with the theory. Humility is not the defining the feature of this site. And yet when we call Sibal and Singh as walking-talking-containers-of-poisonous-fecal-matter, we are sure that everyone except Congress-persons take it to be only an understatement.

But the main question is: Why is Congress so fond of conspiracy Theories? And the answer is so simple that most people miss it. Recall the quote by George Orwell: To see what is in front of our nose requires a constant struggle. And the truth right in front of our nose is that Congress has been the biggest Conspiracy against the Hindus.

We list a few salient examples:

1. Congress, using Mohandas, delayed our independence from the British.

2. Congress fooled the Hindus promising them that India would never be divided and then allowed the partition to happen.

3. Even when partition happened, instead of partitioning into Muslim and Hindu regions or at the very least Muslim, Secular and Hindu regions, it partitioned the country into Muslim and Secular regions. Secularism has been one of the most acute venoms that we have been poisoned with.

4. Jawahar allowed the Romila Thapars to distort history books so that Hindu children read false history.

5. About Jawaharian Socialism the lesser said the better.

6. Jawahar lost the war in 1962 and blamed the advisors and the armed forces. Our armed forces have always been very very brave. It was the (non-existent) leadership of Jawahar which failed. He had failed to do even the bare minimum in defence preparedness despite serious and repeated warnings by the defense people.

Contrast this with 1971, when India won the war in 1971, Indira Gandhi took the credit (The moron Atal Bihari called her by the name of a Goddess). Mind you, our equipment were still inferior to those of the Pakis. India won because of the bravery and intelligence of defense forces.

7. Indira fostered Bhindrenwale against the Akalis. She also delayed taking action until there was no choice except military action, demolished the Sacred Golden Temple, and tried to tint the conflict as Hindu-Sikh conflict.

8. After Indira's assassination, it was the Congress which along with its Secular and Muslim stooges orchestrated attacks on innocent Sikhs, and termed the planned massacre as "riots".

The list is almost endless.

In the recent times Manmohan is not our first Sikh Prime minister, he is the n-th Sick Prime Minister in a long list of Congress Prime ministers. About Sonia, the lesser said the better.

The question is - can Congress wash its sins? The short answer is NO, and the long answer is a YES with a caveat. Congress can not wash its sins, but those Hindus who are in Congress must work for a complete and irreversible demise of the Congress. Further, these Hindus from the would be erstwhile Congress must form a pro-Hindu party and assiduously guard the Hindus and their interests. And those who are of the ilk of Sibals and Singhs must be taught a lesson which will make a Ghengis Khan feel ashamed.

Karnataka BJP in Crisis Again? No. It was never out of Crisis!

The trouble is not that Pranab Murkhaji has become the president elect. The trouble is not even that there was cross voting in BJP, after all BJP's allies openly defied the NDA guideline. Further, when P.A. Sangama was seeking "conscience vote" he should have considered the possibility that he might lose "conscience vote". Then what is the matter? The story in brief:

Ananthkumar (the snake under whose shadow Karnataka BJP has become a Devdasi), the manipulator, has been trying to puppetteer the state government. He can hardly win the state elections on his own, but he likes to "control" all that moves in the state. Well, to be fair to him, he may in turn be manipulated by the BJP-high-command!

Sometime in 2008-09, BSY was about to be sacrificed (like the giant Kalyan Singh was sacrificed for Hajpeyi's frothing-at-the-mouth-againt-Manuwadis sister Mayawati) for the bigamous Kumaraswamy. We suspect that was an insider job. However after HDK deceived BSY, the assembly was dissolved and the people of Karnataka (or do we say Lingayats of Karnataka) gave a comfortable majority to the BJP.

As an aside, albeit it is true that BSY has support of, possibly, only Lingayats; this should be no surprise. Not even, Jawahar, whose false glory is sung time and again by his backside comforters, had a uniform and homogenous support across all "vote banks"! The biggest stalwarts in Indian politics thrive on support of their small yet chosen vote-banks, usually Muslims, and then Yadavs, Dalits and so on. So no point in grudging BSY his vote-bank. But possibly, Anantkumar grudges that! And there begins the inside job, or the subterfuge!

BSY was made to resign for maintaining the "clean image" of the BJP. Then, Sadananda Gowda cheated BSY.  BSY, in his turn, exhibited adoloscent courage and womanly cowardice. He paraded his supporters to dislodge S. Gowda, and then started singing glories of Sonia . He was alleged to be contemplating splitting the BJP but then had no gall. Then, he started a rebellion, demanding Gowda's ouster. During the interregnum BSY also dabbled in praising Modi.

Unfortunately B S Yeddiurappa has come a full circle. Recall the cry-baby Yeddy of yore. We think, finally when he saw the toothless BJP surrendering abjectly to JD(U) and ShivSena, he decided to wedge his sword in to the wound. However, Yeddy must show manliness not cowardice.

The problem or the issue is not of dissent, the issue is of back-stabbing. Hindus have been unnecessarily tolerant of back-stabbers. Had BSY declared that a few of the MLA's will vote for Pranab at his behest, that would have been something else. There is also a possibility that Sadananda Gowda engineered a cross voting to malign BSY. If BJP can not find out who did the cross voting and can not throw them out, Similarly, if BJP can not be stern with its allies, especially the anti-Modi JD(U), then the BJP in its present form has to be summarily rejected. Let it join the cabal of rank anti-Hindu parties.

This further establishes the need for a vertical split within the BJP, into those who are not anti-Modi and those who are anti-Modi, viz. those who are strongly anti-Hindu and those who are only mildly anti-Hindu. If the RSS has even a pea-sized brain, it must keep a list of 1000 fresh candidates ready. A list of those who will contest the next LokSabha elections on a Hindu platform. In the current political scenario, if RSS is even dreaming of a milder form of anti-Hindu alliance (pro-Hindu, or even a Hindu-neutral alliance seems too far fetched), it must mercilessly eject ambivalent and truly-Secular candidates. The Hindus need a new political party with a clear Hindu attitude.

In the mean while, political careers of a lot of people, especially the back-stabbers, need to be destroyed, at the very least they must be shown the door. If the RSS wants to avoid the NDA contesting the next general elections under JD(U) leadership, it needs to start an internal cleansing drive right now.

A possible deconvolution for the convoluted logic of RSS: What Mohan Bhagwat could have said ....

In a recent blog entry the chief of RSS, Mr. Mohan Bhagwat (MB) was criticised for saying: He who is an Indian is a Hindu and he who is not a Hindu is not an Indian.

A long and winding debate ensued. It was desirable to retain the informal notions related to the words Hindu and Indian, and yet certain specificity was needed for precision, unambiguousness and substantiveness.

Mr. Thammayya, in one of his comments, had asked: Hey, I have another suggestion. What do you think, MB should have told? Interesting to know this.

I have recently outlined an abstract version of Hindu-WOL (Hindu Way of Life), terming it, for various reasons, Sanatana Dharma. In light of this article, here is my take on what MB could have said:

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

One of the essential underpinnings of an open and free mind regarding religious truths is: There can be points of view regarding the Truth and the ways of attaining the Truth which are seemingly quite different from the ones I uphold but are equally valid.

Hindus pursue and practice such openness and freedom.

A belief in exclusive monopoly regarding religious truths and/or insistence on one's concrete details regarding the same, is inconsistent with this notion of freedom.

India, in our view, is a home-nation for Hindus. Those who are not Hindus are not legitimately Indian.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Remarks:

0. The term Hindu is not defined comprehensively here. And yet, whatever is essential for the political debate is captured in terms of the concepts of openness and freedom.

For example:
a. The term Hindu is free from geographical, racial, linguistic, regional connotations and overtones.

b. So there can be Hindus residing as citizens of other nations.

1. Similarly, India, although not defined comprehensively, is hinted in the last sentence, to be the current geopolitical entity, whose citizens we are. This suffices for the political debate.

For example:

a. The term India is free from racial, linguistic, and regional connotations and overtones.

b. Those, who are currently residing in India as citizens but do not honor this openness and freedom are termed illegitimate citizens.

This allows us to use the terms "Hindu" and "India" with specificity necessary for the relevant aspects of political debate, while retaining the same informal notions regarding these words, which most of us may entertain.

Nonetheless, this is still a tentative version, and is open to be improved upon. Readers' suggestions are welcome.

Interestingly, a Dutch Politician, Geert Wilders has said many things which RSS could have, and should have articulated long long ago. Some of these are, I have provided links obtained from the same wikipedia page: "not tolerate the intolerant", "Ban Koran like Mein Kampf", and "There might be moderate muslims, but there is no moderate Islam".

However, as I have repeatedly alleged, owing to intellectual lethargy among those who are supposed to provide India with political leadership, these things have not happened here in India.
